Dallas Yacht Club Welcomes you to attend this year’s country event – Two Steppin Night!  Dust off your boots and be ready to western dance to our guest Country band.  Don’t forget to bring your appetite ’cause  Dickey’s BBQ will cater our dinner.

The Yacht Club has done really well with membership growth, the Platinum Pass program and the raffle this year, and we would like to give back =)  We are paying for internationally renoun RHETT BUTLER (the guitarist not the actor =) Although he was named after the actor… to come and perform exclusively for the DYC! This is very cool -watch him defy human ability and play two guitars at once… its phenominal…
This is an entirely free event for all DYC members, potential new members, and our members guests. No $5 fee.
BYOE – Bring Your Own Everything, cigars, livation of choice, wine and cheese. This is meant to be pseudo Pot Luck, the idea is to bring enough cheese/fruit that people can share and enjoy the company.  No raffle.

Come join us at the first 2012 Dallas Yacht Club Membership Mixer! We will unveil the 2012 Calendar of Events, introduce any new members, discuss our Philanthropy drive, and more. We’ll have our computers to update current members’ info and renew memberships for the new year! Sneakys on hand if you want to order food or drinks! No DYC $5 fee this event. We will have a raffle with traditional give-aways and of course the Free Slip from Eagle Point Marina!

We have the same dues as last year, but we have added a couple of options for you, if you choose to use them!

Membership costs Same as Last Year:
$80 Single- plus $5 per event
$120 Family- plus $5 per event/ per person

New Option this year, if you want to ADD to your membership price above…
$100 Platinum Party Pass!- A one time $100 fee and you never have to bring $5 per person again during 2012. Still get the 10 raffle tickets per event, just as if you paid the $5 per person. (good for 2 people) You just don’t have to bring cash to each event. Sorry, No refunds if you miss an event, its a conveninence option for the year and significantly helps the club put on great parties. I’ll briefly discuss some of our finances at the membership meeting, but this Platinum option, or the $5 per event per person, gets us through the year!

This will be a BYOB event, and since this is a Potluck, you are asked to bring a dish to share. We will also fire up the grill if anyone wants to BBQ something for themselves or something to share! Already know what favorite potluck dish you are bringing? Please tell us when you reply so we don’t end up with 50 Fruit Salads!

**ANNOUNCEMENTS**
The Cumberland Presbyterian Children’s Home Day at the Lake Event was a huge success!! The weather was perfect and the kids (as well as our DYC folks) had a great time! Many thanks to all of our members who helped and/or contributed to this special event, as well as to our generous Sponsors who donated food, T shirts and cash. Special thanks to Gloria Lorio for organizing the event, Mike & Barbara Cole for taking the kids on a boat ride and organizing games, Sneaky Pete’s, Ginger Weaver and Lane Lucas for providing food and Frank Machulis for the boater safety talk!
COMMODORE’S BALL
The Commodore’s Ball will be on November 12th at Sneaky Pete’s. You will recieve an invitation in the mail. We’ll be collecting $25 Gift Cards to give to the Cumberland kid’s for the holidays. Gift cards for Target, Walmart, Sports Authority, iPod, and Rave Theater are greatly appreciated!
